Battlefield V - Review | Pro-GamersArena

Battlefield V - Review:

Battlefield V's (It's not Battlefield Vietnam which was released back in 2004) road to release hasn't actually been smooth, nor typical of an EA product. And to be honest, I didn't expected going in that playing Battlefield V's multiplayer would feel so much amazing and satisfying as Battlefield V doesn't feel like a complete experience at the launch. Battlefield V creates the impression that there's a sizeable number of modes and significant bug fixes still to be delivered. In this article, you're gonna hear from us about the Battlefield V Review.

Quick Facts:

  • Initial release date: 15 November 2018
  • First released: 20 November 2018
  • Engine: Frostbite
  • Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows

Straight away, it worth focusing on that while Battlefield V is set during WWII, it doesn't feel outdated. Mechanically speaking, it's the absolute best-feeling Battlefield in quite a while. These short stories plan to tell the stories behind the soldiers that battled in the two world wars, with Battlefield V's selection highlighting some of the more dark records of World War 2. The three being referred to bring a profound jump into the British Special Boat Section, the Norwegian resistance during the German occupation, and the efforts of black West African soldiers in their offer to overthrow the Nazi reign in France. Additionally: for better and for more worse, the game doesn't retread familiar. ground. It spins around the period's lesser-known stories and settings, which can be at the same time reviving and a bit of disappointing, particularly for 1942 fans.

Over the majority of its current multiplayer modes, Battlefield V's default mechanics step toward the hardcore. Health recovery is limited, The time to execute is reduced, and the spotting system is almost entirely removed. And keeping in mind that a portion of these changes feel like a Band-Aid being ripped off, Battlefield V is a superior shooter as a result of them. All things considered, the revisions are more thoughtful than essentially adopting the majority of the hardcore rules. And, in lieu of the whole removal of 3D spotting, just a bunch of gadgets and certain battle characteristics would now be able to put that infamous red circle over enemies heads. This change will help you remain connected with Battlefield V's stunning surroundings instead of playing the HUD. In nutshell, these changes aim to underscore teamplay, fulfilling gunplay, and immersion and every one of them find their marks.

Here's an amazing gameplay by TheRadBrad.

Most important of all, the gun handling is fluid. Combat feels misleadingly easy, yet it's sufficiently layered to liberally reward skillful play, thoughtful strategies, or more all, teamwork. The maps are generally magnificent and advance shifted playstyles, from the flowing fields of Arras - a moment classic - to the omnipresent, all-knowing bridge of Twisted Steel. Wonderfully, every character class is impactful and enjoyable.

The incentives for coordinating with your four-person squad are borderline coercive. Lost health no longer again recovers past a specific point without a medkit, and ammo reserves are less abundant - most weapons are sustained by just two additional magazines to begin, making a Support partner an exceptionally welcome ally.

But there are many flaws which can't be neglected and need to be fixed as soon as possible like, at launch, Battlefield V was suffering from an unusually high amount of bugs and glitches which can possibly ruin a match. We've read reports of much further issues, but we ourselves have suffered with animation glitches that make pointing from turrets an impossibility, and the act of your weapon isolating from your character meaning you can't aim properly because the butt of your rifle is in your face as opposed to the iron sights. In addition, geometry in some cases neglects to stack in, leaving a church's bell tower suspended in mid-air, while trees and rocks don't show up properly, making them look like pixelated messes. The wonderful finish, however, was the point at which the 'Return to combat area' warning inaccurately showed up on our screen, which means we were killed following eight seconds for absolutely no reason. All of these issues is in all likelihood a basic fix via a patch, but they start to add up after occurring consecutively match after match to make an experience that you can't completely depend on to be reasonable nor stable.

An amazing video showing some funny glitches in Battlefield V by IGN.

Battlefield V: Maps And Modes

Battlefield V offers eight maps at launch, and I felt all the maps to be quite enjoyable. Fjell 652 happens on a high-altitude Norwegian mountain overlooking the total of the Norvik map and is liable to exceptional and atmospheric snowstorms. Twisted Steel is built around a huge bridge that serves in as both a fabulous milestone and a functional mechanism to add a straight path to the map's familiar open environment speckled with rural villages.

And coming to modes, Shorter game modes, for example, Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Frontlines make up the numbers to give a multiplayer experience that will feel exceptionally familiar to returning players. Instead of update any of its online mechanics, Battlefield V refines and makes minor enhancements to the chaotic and tremendous battlegrounds it is known for. Despite everything you'll have those great Battlefield moments as you hold out against axis forces while your ticket counter drops to an alarming number, explode a rooftop to cut the rubble down onto your opponents, or you swoop in from the air and take out a target from a plane's gunner seat. There's no enormous disclosure to reveal, rather a stunningly better Battlefield experience to find.

Battlefield V: Company Coins?

Perhaps Battlefield V's greatest takeoff from what it's known for comes as its customization and cosmetic capabilities. Your Company enables you to kit out the four classes of assault, medic, support, and recon to your correct taste, with class particular weapons for each and a preposterous measure of customization to whack to finish everything. Specializations enable you to affect the stats of a weapon, choosing four of eight unique upgrades to better your odds of survival. And in addition that, you can give it an extension and add decals in five distinct territories, and after that, each weapon has its very own level progression to work through. And afterward, there's your soldier themselves, who can be kitted out with various headgear, outfits, and face paint to truly make them look like it. It's an astronomical measure of customisation, and it's everything fuelled by the in-game currency named Company Coins.

Earned by leveling up and finishing day by day orders, the money can be spent on cosmetic items for either your solider or skins for your weapons. This extends the visual abilities beyond basic unlocks via progression and enables you to pick what you need when you need it. There is no real way to buy Company Coins by means of microtransactions, however, EA has expressed that a different paid currency will be introduced at a later date.

The Verdict:

Battlefield V is going to be an extraordinary game, of that we're certain, but because of various glaring omissions at launch and one an excessive number of glitches, the final product isn't there just yet. The good news is that fixes are already taking off, and with a year or a greater amount of free maps and modes on the way, Battlefield V can just show signs of improvement from here.

Take It As A Lesson And Live On

I'll begin with the most important.

I hacked your device and then got access to all your accounts... Including comunidaduc.corcholibre@blogger.com.
It is easy to check - I wrote you this email from your account.

Moreover, I know your intim secret, and I have proof of this.
You do not know me personally, and no one paid me to check you.

It is just a coincidence that I discovered your mistake.
In fact, I posted a malicious code (exploit) to an adult site, and you visited this site...

While watching a video Trojan virus has been installed on your device through an exploit.
This darknet software working as RDP (remote-controlled desktop), which has a keylogger,
which gave me access to your microphone and webcam.
Soon after, my software received all your contacts from your messenger, social network and email.

At that moment I spent much more time than I should have.
I studied your love life and created a good video series.
The first part shows the video that you watched,
and the second part shows the video clip taken from your webcam (you are doing inappropriate things).

Honestly, I want to forget all the information about you and allow you to continue your daily life.
And I will give you two suitable options. Both are easy to do.
First option: you ignore this email.
The second option: you pay me $741(USD).

Let's look at 2 options in detail.

The first option is to ignore this email.
Let me tell you what happens if you choose this path.
I will send your video to your contacts, including family members, colleagues, etc.
This does not protect you from the humiliation that you and
your family need to know when friends and family members know about your unpleasant details.

The second option is to pay me. We will call this "privacy advice."
Now let me tell you what happens if you choose this path.
Your secret is your secret. I immediately destroy the video.
You continue your life as if none of this has happened.

Now you might think: "I'll call to police!"
Undoubtedly, I have taken steps to ensure that this letter cannot be traced to me,
and it will not remain aloof from the evidence of the destruction of your daily life.
I don't want to steal all your savings.
I just want to get compensation for my efforts that I put in to investigate you.
Let us hope that you decide to create all this in full and pay me a fee for confidentiality.
You make a Bitcoin payment (if you don't know how to do it, just enter "how to buy bitcoins" in Google search)

Shipping amount: $754(USD).
Getting Bitcoin Addresses: 14t1ovSs6XGBCi6BwZAQ4kPCJ3dnUapQTv
(This is sensitive, so copy and paste it carefully)

Don't tell anyone what to use bitcoins for. The procedure for obtaining bitcoins can take several days, so do not wait.

I have a spetial code in Trojan, and now I know that you have read this letter.
You have 48 hours to pay.
If I don't get BitCoins, I'll send your video to your contacts, including close relatives, co-workers, and so on.
Start looking for the best excuse for friends and family before they all know.
But if I get paid, I immediately delete the video.

This is a one-time offer that is non-negotiable, so do not waste my and your time.
Time is running out.

Bye!

Gobliiins: Underneath A Carrot Patch

By Ilmari

I had managed to get in wizard's house, but then I had no idea what I was expected to achieve. Time for plan B, that is, random clicking around. What I soon found out was that the big skeleton was very ticklish and dropped a skeleton key, if I used a feather on him. I couldn't take the key right away, because the skeleton was guarding it.

And he was mightily pissed

Then again, he is easily amused

With the skeleton distracted by cup and ball, I could take the key and open the small cage. A small mouselike creature emerged and escaped through the window, but I still wasn't closer to completing the level.

Time for more experimentation. Spelling the feather turned it into a flyswatter. A fly was buzzing around, so I naturally let Dwayne swat the animal. With no better idea, I let Hooter enchant the dead fly, which turned into a dart. What should I do with this thing?

Click it on everything and hope something works

Throwing the dart on wizard's picture opened up a cupboard containing the voodoo doll used for enchanting the goblin king. I picked the doll up - and I still hadn't completed the level! Turns out I had to also pick up a random bottle of elixir to finally move forward. Quite a messy level: no clear goal and the puzzle solutions made no sense even with hindsight.

At least now I have a new goal

Next level had a tighter design. I obviously had to find my way past the wizard, who would zap anyone trying to walk by the opening in the wall. Dwayne was carrying the elixir from the last level, and drinking it made him invisible. That should have made it easy for him to sneak past the big baddie.

You had to step on the horn!

Perhaps I should do something with those eggs?

You can't make an omelette…

...without breaking an egg.

Maybe a spell?

I think I see where this is heading

Splash!

After exhausting other options I noticed there was something hidden under roots of the tree. Hooter's spell lifted the roots and Dwayne found a bird call underneath. Blowing it called a bird, which depending on where Dwayne stood either dropped an egg on his head or hatched one of the eggs in the nest. When Hooter enchanted the hatched egg, he got a lift to safety.

If I were the wizard, I'd definitely take a notice of the flying egg

With Hooter on the other side, he could easily use his magical powers to move the horn couple of inches, so that Dwayne could use the invisibility potion without being noticed. Now I only had BoBo to worry about. There was a carrot lying about, with which I could gain the attention of a rat, peeking from a hole in the ground. Hooter then turned the rat into a pin-up lady for a few seconds. While the wizard's gaze was transfixed in her, BoBo could walk to his comrades.

My task was to find Shadwin, good wizard, who lived under a carrot patch. Here I was on one but I still had to figure out how to get under it. After couple of minutes I found out that Hooter could enchant a rock, which would grow into a sort of ladder, with which I could climb to the top of the slab. When I used a stick that was lying around on a differently coloured point on slab, a watering can appeared.

When I watered the small sprouts, they grew into large carrot tops. It was up to Hooter to spell the carrots completely out. Most of them were monstrous creations, which destroyed the health of the goblins.

Except this one. This one improved their health

One of the carrots looked like an alligator with a key on its nose. When hit, the carrotgator dropped the key, which could then be used in another carrot with a keyhole. I had found my way underground.

Why would you put a cannon in your house?

The good wizard Shadwin was very sleepy and I had to find a way to awaken him. There was a box of matches lying around, and if BoBo hit the pile of balls, Dwayne could pick one of them up. Maybe I should then use the cannon and hope that the old man would hear its sound?

This wasn't what I meant

I had to first change the direction of the cannon by letting BoBo hit it. Now the cannon was pointed more upwards and ball wouldn't hit Shadwin. Instead, it hit roof above and a carrot landed. Carrots were Shadwin's favourite, so maybe I should put the carrot in the pot.

Of course, I must use the cannon for this

The smell of carrot stew soon awakened Shadwin. Problem was that he was hard of hearing and couldn't understand a word of what we were saying. With no other avenues to explore, I repeated the exact procedure for finding carrots and let Hooter enchant it this time. The result was an ear trumpet, through which Dwayne could speak to Shadwin.

And still I was stuck on the same level! I picked up a stick that had just appeared on the floor and used it with the big gong. The gong turned into a dimensional portal after hitting it, and a small pendulum appeared.

After picking the pendulum, gobliiins were ready to move to the next level through the portal. Shadwin explained that dragon's fire would be essential in destroying the voodoo doll. Since this post is long enough, let's stop here and leave the dragon for the next one.

Session time: 4 hours 25 minutes
Total time: 9 hours 30 minutes

Screen Persistence And The GBA - LCD Abuse

Today's Interview is with:

Rodney Owen
Interviewed on: 1/13/2019 0:29:12

Rodney Owen is an avid gamer that only more recently has turned to game design. Last year he came in third in The Game Crafter's Solo Design Contest with his game Robin Hood: Hero of the People, which is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. So be sure to check it out now (the campaign goes until May 23) and read on to learn more about Rodney and some of his other projects.

Some Basics
Tell me a bit about yourself.

How long have you been designing tabletop games?
Six months to a year.

Why did you start designing tabletop games?
I used to make short films and I loved the creative process. Back in 2015 I discovered The Game Crafter online. I loved the idea that I could make and sell games online and the creative process of making games was, for me, similar to making films.

What game or games are you currently working on?
I'm working on a game for that I'm bringing to Kickstarter this year called Robin Hood: Hero of the People. It's a solo adventure that came 3rd in The Game Crafter solo design contest last year. I've also created a game for this years Board Game Geek Mint Tin design contest called Mint Condition. I have also designed a game called Blind Trust where people take their turns with their eyes closed and must rely on others to make their decisions.

Have you designed any games that have been published?
None as yet but I am looking at self Publishing Robin Hood: Hero of the People myself through Kickstarter.

What is your day job?
I'm a Counsellor by background and I'm working full time in a Suicide Prevention Program. My clients have all had a recent suicide attempt and my role is to help them stay safe and link them in with services that will aid their recovery.

Your Gaming Tastes
My readers would like to know more about you as a gamer.

Do you like to have music playing while you play games? If so, what kind?
I don't really have music on. I find that if there's a lot of background noise I find it hard to hear rules explanations.

What's your favorite FLGS?
I tend to buy most of my games 2nd hand via Facebook. Otherwise I tend to go to where the game I want is.

What is your current favorite game? Least favorite that you still enjoy? Worst game you ever played?
The games I'm loving at the moment are Black Orchestra, Fury of Dracula, Love Letter and Batman Fluxx. I find Terraforming Mars a bit overrated, but I'll still play it. I really didn't enjoy Tiny Epic Quest and Auztralia.

What is your favorite game mechanic? How about your least favorite?
I like anything that makes for quick and fun card games such as hand management, drafting, bluffing and take that. I'm really enjoying worker placement games at the moment and I'm quite good at hidden movement games. I don't really like Dexterity games.

What's your favorite game that you just can't ever seem to get to the table?
Coup. My wife doesn't really enjoying the bluffing aspect and no matter how many times I've taken it to games group it's never made it to the table.

What styles of games do you play?
I like to play Board Games, Card Games

Do you design different styles of games than what you play?
I like to design Board Games, Card Games

OK, here's a pretty polarizing game. Do you like and play Cards Against Humanity?
Yes

You as a Designer
OK, now the bit that sets you apart from the typical gamer. Let's find out about you as a game designer.

When you design games, do you come up with a theme first and build the mechanics around that? Or do you come up with mechanics and then add a theme? Or something else?
I start with a goal and that goal could be anything such as make a solo game, make a game with only 18 cards, make a game that fits into a mint tin. Usually these goals are given to me by whatever contest I'm entering. I then design everything else to fit around that goal.

Have you ever entered or won a game design competition?
Several. All the games that I have developed the most have been for contests. My best result (so far) has been 3rd place in The Game Crafter solo design contest

Do you have a current favorite game designer or idol?
I've played and really enjoyed Phil Walker- Hardings games lately, particularly Barenpark. Not only is he an Aussie designer but he lives in the same city as me and doing really well overseas. I hope to meet him one day.

Where or when or how do you get your inspiration or come up with your best ideas?
Most of my inspiration comes from the contests I enter. I find that the parameters contest impose and the time frame really helps my creativity.

How do you go about playtesting your games?
Last year I discovered the local game design community who have been really great and encouraging. We sometimes hold unpub events were we playtest each others designs and I have some great friends who are willing to try out some new designs.

Do you like to work alone or as part of a team? Co-designers, artists, etc.?
I mostly design alone but I am working on one design with a mate.

What do you feel is your biggest challenge as a game designer?
Getting my games out there into the world and published. At times Australia can be quite isolated. Getting to international conventions is expensive, shipping prototypes and product is expensive and takes time.

If you could design a game within any IP, what would it be?
I would love to design a Batman or Star Wars game. I'm a big fan of both.

What do you wish someone had told you a long time ago about designing games?
Start now! I discovered The Game Crafter in 2015 but it was a couple of years later that I made my first game. I'd be further along if I started in 2015.

What advice would you like to share about designing games?
Immerse yourself in games and game design. Listen to podcasts, read books and blogs, meet other designers and most of all play games. You learn so much at a faster rate when you totally immerse yourself in the world.

Would you like to tell my readers what games you're working on and how far along they are?
Games that will soon be published are: Mint Condition, Blind Trust
This is what I have currently crowdfunding: Robin Hood: Hero of the People (Kickstarter in April)
Games that are in the early stages of development and beta testing are: Fagin, Devilish and Base Words

Are you a member of any Facebook or other design groups? (Game Maker's Lab, Card and Board Game Developers Guild, etc.)
Tabletop Game Designers Australia

And the oddly personal, but harmless stuff…
OK, enough of the game stuff, let's find out what really makes you tick! These are the questions that I'm sure are on everyone's minds!

Star Trek or Star Wars? Coke or Pepsi? VHS or Betamax?
Star Wars, Coke and Livestreaming

What hobbies do you have besides tabletop games?
What, there's other hobbies?? I have done a lot of geocaching and I'm still a big movie fan.

What is something you learned in the last week?
I learned that Adam Lambert has a cameo in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie

Favorite type of music? Books? Movies?
I like classic rock, true crime and biographies. There are far too many types of movies out there, I like anything that's well made.

What was the last book you read?
For Love of Board Games by Erin Dean. I recently received my Kickstarter copy.

Do you play any musical instruments?
No.

Tell us something about yourself that you think might surprise people.
In my younger years I did a lot of karaoke. There was one point where I would go to karaoke 3 times a week.

Tell us about something crazy that you once did.
In 2016 I participated in Charity Bike ride. We rode 500 kms in 5 days on bicycles in Thailand. We rode in 50 degree heat, along roads, dirt tracks and up massive hills for up to 8 hours a day and I raised over $5000 for orphans in Thailand.

Biggest accident that turned out awesome?
In 2010 I contracted swine flu. I ended up in hospital in an induced coma on life support for 11 days. It turned out awesome because not only did I survive, I made a full recovery, walked away with a different perspective on life and have a great story to tell.

Who is your idol?
Russell Crowe

What would you do if you had a time machine?
I'd go and see my Mum again at a time before she died.

Are you an extrovert or introvert?
I do consider myself to be an introvert

If you could be any superhero, which one would you be?
Batman- he's rich and has a cool car.

Have any pets?
No.

When the next asteroid hits Earth, causing the Yellowstone caldera to explode, California to fall into the ocean, the sea levels to rise, and the next ice age to set in, what current games or other pastimes do you think (or hope) will survive into the next era of human civilization? What do you hope is underneath that asteroid to be wiped out of the human consciousness forever?
Wow, that's intense. I hope the games and pastimes that survive in the world bring people together as we will need it. I hope the need for people to bring others down is wiped out forever.

If you'd like to send a shout out to anyone, anyone at all, here's your chance (I can't guarantee they'll read this though):
I'd like to send a shout out to my wife Kim, my mate Rowan from Brand New Board Games, Sydney Beer and Boardgames group, my mate Josh at Shenanigames and the awesome community at Tabletop Game Designers Australia (TGDA).

Thanks for answering all my crazy questions!

Security Alert. Your accounts was hacked by criminal group.

Hello!

I have very bad news for you.
21/10/2018 - on this day I hacked your OS and got full access to your account comunidaduc.corcholibre@blogger.com

So, you can change the password, yes... But my malware intercepts it every time.

How I made it:
In the software of the router, through which you went online, was a vulnerability.
I just hacked this router and placed my malicious code on it.
When you went online, my trojan was installed on the OS of your device.

After that, I made a full dump of your disk (I have all your address book, history of viewing sites, all files, phone numbers and addresses of all your contacts).

A month ago, I wanted to lock your device and ask for a not big amount of btc to unlock.
But I looked at the sites that you regularly visit, and I was shocked by what I saw!!!
I'm talk you about sites for adults.

I want to say - you are a BIG pervert. Your fantasy is shifted far away from the normal course!

And I got an idea....
I made a screenshot of the adult sites where you have fun (do you understand what it is about, huh?).
After that, I made a screenshot of your joys (using the camera of your device) and glued them together.
Turned out amazing! You are so spectacular!

I'm know that you would not like to show these screenshots to your friends, relatives or colleagues.
I think $721 is a very, very small amount for my silence.
Besides, I have been spying on you for so long, having spent a lot of time!

Pay ONLY in Bitcoins!
My BTC wallet: 1E9qZgNC9KRnJfwZChcBtXN8D4g17T51p7

You do not know how to use bitcoins?
Enter a query in any search engine: "how to replenish btc wallet".
It's extremely easy

For this payment I give you two days (48 hours).
As soon as this letter is opened, the timer will work.

After payment, my virus and dirty screenshots with your enjoys will be self-destruct automatically.
If I do not receive from you the specified amount, then your device will be locked, and all your contacts will receive a screenshots with your "enjoys".

I hope you understand your situation.
- Do not try to find and destroy my virus! (All your data, files and screenshots is already uploaded to a remote server)
- Do not try to contact me (this is not feasible, I sent you an email from your account)
- Various security services will not help you; formatting a disk or destroying a device will not help, since your data is already on a remote server.

P.S. You are not my single victim. so, I guarantee you that I will not disturb you again after payment!
This is the word of honor hacker

I also ask you to regularly update your antiviruses in the future. This way you will no longer fall into a similar situation.

Do not hold evil! I just do my job.
Have a nice day!
